**Lorelei Spikepaw set her war axe down. A grim smile showed on her dark, mysterious, face. Her eyes glowed brightly.**
Anyone who thinks they are tough enough to hunt down some goodbeasts, come with me. We shall scan through the woods for any sign of the GGOOIM. Any vittles, or treasures you found, give them to me and I shall reward you with three red teardrops when we get back to the camp. The weak ones stay and protect the little wimps.

Antious walks up and greets the hoard leader. "You know I am always with you." He sticks his sword into the ground and leans on it. "How many do you think I could "catch" Lorelei?" He looks up to the sky with a carefree smile on his face waiting for the answer.

**Lorelei shrugged**
How am I suppose to know? You're a great hunter, Antious. I'm sure you can 'catch' a lot of 'them'
OOC: Yeah.. that's what she thinks she knows.. But really, Lorelei doesn't have a clue to what yore talking about.

"Weak ones stay? Hunh, I ain't weak, Lorelei dearest, just lazy... However, I wouldn't want your sweet little apprentice to be attacked - how I about I come along? This might provide some entertainment."
The creature speaking was Soul; if it were not for his high rank, or his efficiency in battle, he would have been harshly reprimanded for his careless, mocking words. They were not meant to insult, merely taunt, and toy with others, although this was not much - if any - better. With a sigh, he pushed back a few strands of tattered headfur, and surveyed Lorelei with indifference. The aloof otter exhaled once more, stood and straightened his posture, before allowing his eyes to lazily glaze over, absentmindedly running his tough paws along the blades of the daggers slotted across the belts hung like sashes across his shoulders and chests.
"Don't let beasts see that pretty lil' face of yours, Lorelei - otherwise meself and Sunfire won't feel privelaged any more." He shot a pouting look at the wildcat, before erupting in short, gruff laughter, his merriment ending as quickly as it has begun.

**Lorelei shot Soul a piercing glance**
Well, o'course you can come! What's your weapon? Your big mouth, or just your looks?

Soul gave an insolent smile, unphased by the insults shot back at him; he expected her to do so. "Well it seems my big mouth has gotten on your nerves, so I shouldn't let a talent go to waste... Just so you know dear, my good looks are for viewing only. If you're a fan on them, I suggest you jump on the bandwagon." The otter furrowed his brow, as though uncertain of Lorelei. "Instead of starting petty arguements, may'aps you can start the journey; gettin' touchy ov'r somethin' so trivious is hardly a leader-like quality."
Soul definately had a smart mouth; and he's cool exterior made it appear he was always in control. Whatever situation he or his mouth got him in to... he was always two steps ahead. He was a cunning creature, one that liked to get his own way. He was merely toying with Lorelei, and the Skipper was certain she knew that too; perhaps that was partially why their disputes never ended with violence. The other reason she maybe put up with him, was his ability to manipulate others was extremely useful. He was also able to take things seriously when needed, but in honest opinion, he did not care. He had little concern for any body, just himself. Selfish, egotistical and cold. Those were things evident in his movements, from the way he held himself with arrogant ease, or how he detached himself from the otters and other species under his command.
With a troubled exhale, he breathed unenthusiastically, "Fine, let's get this stupid thing over with."

Thinking of leaving without me were you m'lady? Tisk tisk tisk... Bad manners leaving your General out of the loop...
**Sunfire stepped from the shadows of the tent. Her Tulwar and maul presant as ever. On her fore-arm was her shield and her paws held her glaive ready. The chestnut brown fur, off-set by the red tint looked clean and fresh... Almost as if it was eager for the bloodshed that was sure to be encountered...**
I so hope that I find more traces of my brother... Almost as much as I hope to find bloodshed...
**To call Sunfire patiant would be nowhere near accurate. She was as patiant as a Praying Mantis, twice as deadly to. She had been waiting five years to find her brother... Five years of beating those who crossed her path... Five years of no news... Five years of sadness... Five years of waiting hadn't dulled her edge... Five years had given her a soild reputation for havoc, destruction, and mayhem...**

Antious sighed, he looked over to Soul, Sunfire, and Lorelei. "So Lorelei are we ready to get moving yet or does everyone want to stand around and chat." He said with a slight hint of impatience. He wanted to get on the move, for he wasn't one to stand around.

**Lorelei laughed and shook her head**
Oho-ho-no. I won't be leading this horde. I'm just going to be a fellow assassin just wanting to tag along. As we march, I shall note of how you behave, talk, etc; to see if you are worthy of being in this horde.Sunfire, since you are my general, you shall lead the march. Come on now, all of you seem impatient. Let's get going, Sunfire.

All combatants, Forward MARCH!

OOC: Meh, since we didn't have one, I thought I'd make one up for the post...
BIC: **Sunfire's glave found targets in the bodies of several otters, until they were too close for it. Then the tulwar and maul earned their keep. The black bladed tulwar and obsidion (can I have obsidion? It's a glassy-rock that is hard, yet CAN shatter under a very heavy impact) maul were swung rapidly in tight circles to the mouse. With as much grace as a professional dancer, the mouse span under and around the blades of the otters, while still dealing out the damage.**
Haveing fun marm? I know I am.

OOC: The professional dancer part made me crack up. Just seeing you say that sentence made me laugh. Hahaha. I still have the giggles. Oh and of course you can have an obsidion. As long as you bought the weapon. Heesh, Sunfie is not that strong to whack, and shape a stone like that
BIC:
**Lorelei saluted at Sunfire while stabbing another otter in the heart.** I haven't had this much fun since... well, since the world war 1 1/2! When the GGOOIM and the former Jadeblood members fought. I was nought but a tiny wildcat. Of course, I wandered off from the empire and I got taken by some of the GGOOIM tribers. I had to use my instincts and powers in order to get back to the camp. Ah... that was a fine day!
**Lorelei was interrupted from her reminisce by a loud bang. Air whooshed from her lungs as she was knocked down by a tall otter with a staff.**
Take that, crazy cat!

OOC: Female mouse + Dancer, you do the maths for skillage... Yay obsideon! Smashy time...
BIC: **Ducking for several seconds, Sunfire sent her glaive into the back of the tall otter who had knocked her leader over. But in doing so, she left herself open to an attack. Without warning, A dagger hammered into her hip, causing her to go down. HARD.**
That's no way to treat a lady... Especially one who can kill you with ease.

**Lorelei rolled to her left, righ behind the otter that stabbed Sunfire. Getting up slowly, she raised her battle axe and, with full power, she hammered it down on the otter's head. The otter shrieked and fell dead. Blood sputtered from the otter's mouth and it landed on Lorelei. The wildcat leader ignored the red liquidy substance on her cheek and snatched the dagger from Sunfire's hip**
I know it's painful, but you'll live. Let me patch you up.
**She ripped off a fabric from her worn-out tunic and placed it on Sunfire's broken hip.**
Wow. This is a bit challenging. We're outnumbered. Maybe we should- nah! I can take them. Are you alright?

I will be. I survived an assassin's dart, I'm not going to fall to this mob.
**Putting action to words, the mouse maid surged forwards back towards the foe. Her blade tore blooded havoc amongst the un-armoured otters. In the frenzy of attacks, she earned another wound, one that torn a chunk from her right ear. It was swift, and brutal, the mouse maid's usual. Her frenzy had done it's job; it caused the (barely)unharmed otters left, to fall back in disarray.

Wow. Now that's an agressive mouse. She may be small, but heck she's very strong! I wonder what she'd do to her brother if we come across him... **Thinks of a clean slaughter** Yaagh! Make it go away!
**Thinks of a gory slaughter** Ah.. much better
**Snaps back into Reality and gets stabbed in the shoulder.** Yagh! Ouch. That hurts.
**Snaps the arrowshaft and swings the axeblade into opponent.** Take that!
**Opponent falls back into a thornbush**
**Laughs**
Ha ha ha. Don't mess with me, pal.

Well, that otter got left behind. I didn't want it to cath up with the others alive.
**She grabs a golden chalice and stuffs it in her haversack.**
Yea. Life is good when it doesn't stab you hard in the back, or in my matter, in the shoulder. It's wonderful being an empress. Stupid Otters. They think they're so tough but when it comes to a battle, they always flee in fear. That's what happened at World War One and a half.

{OOC:// Woah - ahoy mateys! Slow it down! }
Soul lagged behind the two female leaders of Jadeblood; the otter was perhaps a bit old-fashioned, in the way he did not think maidens or those of the female gender should be out, seeking blood... but here they were, thirsty for slaughter. This was ridiculous - calculated attacks were much more profitable than random rampages. As the otter band abruptly leapt from a cluster of bushes, hurling their own cries of rebellion and freedom, the Skipper had an opportunity to see Sunfire and Lorelei in battle. He did not doubt their leader's strength - wildcat's were rare creatures, nearly as big as badgers, and they possessed strength that only the Lord's of Salamandastron could surpass. The mouse was a surprisingly fercious fighter, but he was nonplussed by her abilities; a fighter was a slave to war. He was rarely ever impressed by another's skills in the arts of combat - Lorelei was the only creature who he gave a hint of acknowledgement to her fighting abilities. That was it.
He watched his companions, clan-mates, hack their way through the otters; no shred of kinship was left in his heart for these strangers. Their numbers were plenty, but he was confident Lorelei and Sunfire could hold their own; no need to charge into a battle where he wasn't needed. He would waste energy, and just up-stage the maids - he couldn't have that. As two bulky otters pressed in on him, he continued to warm forward, paws shoved casually into the tattered pockets of his pants. As the two approached, he neatly side-stepped, catching the first in the stomach with his elbow, smoothly tripping the next with an out-stretch paw. With calm movements, he drew a narrow pipe, and blew two needle-like darts at his opponents. Each one found it's target, the otter skilfully aiming at the kill points of his victims. Each fell dead, lifeless bodies thudding against the ground, arousing dust clouds.
Observing the once-animate forms of the otters, he strips them of a few bangles, an earring and various jewel-encrusted necklaces and rings, clasping his find in his rough paws. Padding with utmost ease over to his fellow Jadeblood vermin - who had successfully driven off the otters, the blood on their garments enforcing this - he threw his own findings upon the ground, a crude offering to Sunfire and Lorelei.
"Scavengers. I don't need such vanities."
With a careless shrugging, smoothly stepping over the hacked form of an otter, his dark eyes flickered to the road ahead. The battle had been no exhausting effort for him - he was an otter who, although possessing strength of his own, liked to turn his opponents own weapon against them - but the other two had tumbled into the fray with enthusiamn, burning off precious energy. There had been many foe, and there would most likely be weariness rooted within them, after their fight.
"Are we going to keep going, or do you two need to rest?"

Rest? I'm just getting warmed up. Or at least I would be, had my foes not ran in fear of dieing...
**Flicking her tulwar to clear it of any residual blood, the mouse sheathed her blade. The obsidion maul needed no such attention, the cold stone already clean. The maul was quickly replaced on her belt as she searched for the thrown glaive. Swiftly spotting it, she limped over and removed it from the back of the otter it had struck. Leaning on the long haft, Sunfire gazed around.**

OOC: Sorry about my last post. I was talking about the GGOOIM Otters, Soul. Not all the otters in the world.
BIC:
**Lorelei licked the blood off her paws before receding back to her rock.**
I don't need a break. I can keep going on and on, stealing their loot. But that's the problem of these otters. We don't have a clue to where they're living. Well, once one of my ancestors found out where their hiding spot is. They killed him after 5 days has passed, of course. We tracked down the hiding place, but the whole campground was deserted. The only remaining thing on the site was some tents, a burned out fire, and a dagger. That was it. The otters were smart for covering their trails. Now they just pop up whenever they can.
**She held onto her blade and performed some 'pimped out' tricks before laying it down again**
Yea.... where'd that squirrel go? Antious... yeah... where'd he go?

OOC: Yeah Lorelei, I know it was only a band of foe otters - I never said all the otters in the world... Where'd you come with that?
Soul ran his rough paws through his fur, exhaling with boredom; fighting was a day-to-day occurance for the otter, and he had long since tired of such mindless bloodlust. There was only so much blood that could be spilled, before it grew mundane and boring; killer or not, he did things other than murder, and he pitied those who spent their life time soaked in the fluids of their foe's wounds. How boring and unamusing such creatures were - so simple-minded. WIth a shrug, he continued onwards up the path, without waiting for Sunfire, Lorelei or Antious.
"Have it your way you two - later, you will regret not listening to my suggestion. And wherever the little whelp went, leave him; if he can't keep up, then he shouldn't of come."[/font]
